  : Beautiful historic building in prime location, right in middle of old town and in a quaint courtyard with a coffee shop and craft shops. .Very cute apartment that's been well maintained and lots of love and care given to it. Very friendly and helpful owner. Amazing staying in a piece of history. Very quiet apartment. Well equipped. Owner very helpful with producing a map of old town tallinn and Wi-Fi instructions. Well worth the money charged.
  : Only niggle was bed was a bit uncomfy (I'm used to soft bed) and steps up to apartment steep and scary (but this is part of the character and history of the building and only an issue for me as I have bad knees)..

  : Check-in was very quick and easy.
  : I booked this hotel for 4 nights in Tallinn and left after only one night. The owner is a very nice guy and I hate to write such a negative review. But this place is completely unsuitable as a hotel, especially for an older person.The rooms are accessed by going into a dark corner of the building where there is a locked door. You then enter and go up a winding staircase to the second floor and another locked door. It is very dark and dreary. When you approach the hallway where the rooms are, there is a slight step up which is easy to forget. I tripped on it several times.I had Room 2 which consists of a bathroom and a small kitchen on the first floor and a sleeping area up a treacherous flight of stairs (more on the stairs later).The sleeping area has two single beds crammed into a tight space. One of them has a roof beam ascending at an angle right over the pillow -- perfect for bumping your head in the night. The beds are hard and narrow and uncomfortable. There is a duvet and one ancient, smelly, lumpy pillow per bed. When you put your head down on the pillow, you try not to think about how gross it is, but you can't.There is no air conditioning and while I was there the weather was warm and the room was too hot.The bathroom and the kitchen area were clean, but the whole place had a tired, depressing, musty feeling about it.Back to the stairs. The treads are about 9 inches wide, which is about an inch or two too short for safety. But in actuality, it's worse than that because each tread is partially overhung by the tread above it, leaving only about 6 inches of clear tread. This is half of what is usually considered safe because only about half of your foot is on the treat as you go up or down. So, if you think you might need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, make sure your affairs are in order because you might not make it down safely.If you survive the stairs, pray there is no fire because this place is a fire trap.

  : Very quiet (neighbours depending though as the walls are thin), ultimate situation, great tenant. Very good ratio quality/price. 5 min from city centre. Very hot water. Supermarkets nearby. Fridge and microwave, amongst other things.Photos look exactly like the apartment.The little patio from where you access the building is absolutely lovely.
  : The mattress is really hard.It wouldn't suit people with mobility issues (stairs and cobblestone street)
