  : Breakfast adequate. Best Westerns for the most part have a much better breakfast. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, fresh fruit but as I said this hotel breakfast was adequate. Best Western in Tehachapi is awful, so this was a better choice.

  : The location is convenient. There's a convenience store and a Denny's across the street. There's also a Starbucks, as well, thankfully so you can actually grab a decent cup of coffee. Located off the freeway, too.
  : I booked through Booking.com and selected a 2 queen bedroom. Only after I finalized payment did I receive notice that the bedroom type would be selected at the time of check in. I immediately called, as this was not acceptable & not what I booked. I knew we would not be arriving until late and did not want to find out that there were no rooms available as I selected at midnight after an 8-hour drive. I messaged the hotel through the Booking.com app. When I did not receive a timely response, I called the hotel, directly. The woman who answered told me they had no double queen rooms left. I was displeased, as this is a contradiction to the booking I had just made through Booking.com. I then told the woman I would have to cancel my reservation and find another hotel that could accommodate my needs. She immediately responded that she just so happened to find a 2 queen bed room.. I found this interesting that not more than 2 minutes prior she told me she could not accommodate my booking but when I needed to cancel magically a room was located. I booked this particular hotel because it is rated as "Very Good" on Booking.com. There was nothing special about this hotel. It was bare basics hotel bordering on motel vibes.If this is a top ranked hotel on Booking.com, I am terrified to see what a lesser rated hotel looks like.Overall, the stay was fine for what we needed. There is a Denny's across the street, a Starbucks- Thank You Jesus because the hotel coffee was FOUL, and a convenience store, too! Convenience factor 10/10. Comfort was fine, a 6/10. Cleanliness was.... ehhhh not stellar. The carpet felt moist and sticky, the fridge still had other people's food in it, and the couches were stained to the max. For those reasons, plus a few others, I'd rate it a 5/10.Value, a 4/10. There's no reason in the world this should be $200/night.
