  : The pleasant surprise was the guests' lounge area, which was large and beautiful - though hardly anyone else seemed to use it. My single room was big enough, solidly furnished with plenty of storage space. The en-suite was likewise good. Everything, throughout the hotel, was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Location was good...and bad. The good part was the easy walk down into town.
  : The bad part of the location was the walk back up the hill. You could take a bus, but that involved a fairly long downhill walk from the nearest stop Parking was an issue. We were each allocated a space, but room was very tight and manoeuvring difficult at busy times. Breakfast was disappointing, an exercise in feeding the guests as quickly as possible. The food was adequate, at best, compared with a top B&B.

  : it was spotless and the owner was such a lovely person who made our stay
  : only little issues like no biscuits in the room, there were on first day but not replenished which would have been a nice touch.
