  : DO NOT BOOK HERE. This property ask double the price of the others guest houses for nothing more. The owners are kind people and we can tell that they want to do their best. the chalet is brand new and the bed is confortable. we decided to pay more for quality however noting was working . no wifi at all, the water didnt work when we arrived and the owner shut down the heater during the night so it was totally freezing in the morning. Plus its far away from the beginning of the trek and you can hear the neighbors. The worse hotel experience we had in Albania in 10 days.

  : The property is new, clean and modern. It is in a fantastic surrounding in the mountains. The village is developing but at present is limited to a small handful of basic restaurants and 2 or 3 small kiosks that sell water/crisps and other snacks, but please be aware you can not expect to purchase a lot in this village. This is dissimilar to other more developed and renowned hiking villages such as El Chalten in Argentina where you are spoilt for choice on restaurants etc. Enjoy it for what it is now, because I expect across the next 10-15 years time this will have a huge tourism boom. The property is circa 5 minute walk west of the location shown on Google maps at the time of writing. We walked from the property as part of our hike to the Valbone bypass and view point. We understand transport can also be organised as an alternative to eliminate walking the first few kilometres on tarmac road. If you arrange transport via Komani Lake Ferry company you can ask them to drop you off and/or collect you from the property.

  : We felt like home and even somewhat homesick for this place afterwards, when we arrived in Teth. Location was great as well (for us the perfect mix of being close to shops and restaurants and close to the start of the hike to teth) Fabulous view, wonderful hospitality by the owner, who cared about us feeling at home. Loved it!
  : nothing to not like!
