Grand Canal Suite

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Location right across from the train station- and on the Grand Canal. It was surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants and the water ferry was right there to take us to our tours. Extremely comfortable, clean room with all we needed and I really liked the common area with those great views of the city and canals. There isnt an elevator but we only had backpacks and were ready for stairs. We would definitely stay again.
  : A few things that could improve for first time travelers is 1) signage and 2) map and information about ferries and restaurants in the room and 3) the process for obtaining the booking seemed drawn out. A sign on sidewalk showing where door to suite entrance would have been helpful- we had to ask a couple of other businesses where to get in. We were able to figure out the ferry to get to our tour and found a perfect restaurant just walking around. The booking process came in four parts and different times and the form to fill out passport and other information seemed to be sent several times. And we were not aware there was a place inside we could have stored our backpacks before going on our tour. Knowing that storage was available came after we received the code to get into the building.

  : The location was the only good quality of this suite #6.
  : Didn't like much about suite 6 at all. Too many stairs. Broken toilet seat. Low ceilings. No hangers. No front desk or staff. Horrible.

  : Never saw the staff, the walk up three flights with luggage was unexpected and difficult. The room. Was clean and nice. It has a lobby area where you can rest, store your luggage and wait to enter your room or to move on to your next destination.

  : No coffee, no cups, lots of stairs, no lift, Tight shower. You can not enter your room before 1500, not even 5 mins before
