  : No essentials: water, toilet paper, and the stairs were a challenge, also at the entry door no lights outside or inside

  : Great location for seeing Venice. Walked the city and felt that its location was one of the nicer, less busy areas. Less than 5 minutes walk to the waterfront and from there a lovely stroll to the busy San Marco (less than 10 mins). Also a good location for hopping over to other islands. The apartment itself had everything we needed. Good communication from hosts.
  : Was nervous when told of extra fees for cleaning if we left any rubbish behind. Wasn't hard locating the recycling point. We always wash up our dishes but first time being told to do so or extra fees.

  : The location is in a quiet residential area a few kilometres from the tourist hot spots. I liked it due to feeling more relaxed, but my wife would have preferred to be closer to the sights.
  : The suite is chic and has most of what you would need for a home away from home. The steps are very steep--parents with small children or those with mobility impairments beware.
