Tranquility by the Sea - Vieques

Tranquility by the Sea is a bright cottage located on the north coast of Vieques Island Puerto Rico. The secluded wraparound veranda allows you to enjoy wonderful sea views and refreshing trade winds. Surrounded by tropical plants and flowers this cottage has colorful décor and high ceilings with fans. There are 3 bedrooms a cozy lounge with an internet TV and a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare meals.

There is a washer-dryer for extra convenience and free WiFi is provided throughout. Barbecue facilities are also available outside. Free parking is available at Tranquility by the Sea. The surrounding area is ideal for walking along the beach snorkeling and bird watching.

You can also spot wild horses grazing in the fields around the property. Isabel Segunda town is within a 25-minute walk or a 3-minute drive of the cottage. From there you can take a ferry to Fajardo on the Puerto Rican mainland.

: The house had everything we needed and more, even charcoal for the outside grill. We made great use of the beach equipment! Loved sitting on the rocker on the veranda listening to the waves.

: Loved it! We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The house was clean and comfortable. The yard is beautiful as well. The host was extremely responsive! We brought our 3 young adult and teen children and they had a blast! We all sat out on the porch in the evenings and enjoyed the breeze off the ocean.

: We love the location and love the house. Morning walks to the beach or up thru the hills behind our location on the roads with pretty views, etc. House was very clean and fully equipped for the kitchen and extras for beach towels, games coolers for the beach etc. Warm water showers inside and outside shower is a plus for coming back after a day at the beach. Very cute and cozy casita out back for extra guests. The island is a noisy island no matter where you are... with frogs, roosters crowing, dogs and cats and horses visiting and passing by (necessary to keep gates closed to keep out "close encounters" with horses )... This is all a part of the local island character that we love. There is so much to do during the day (beaches, hiking, horseback riding exploring) we were not at the house much during the day and the nights were quiet except the frogs and and a few roosters. We definitely recommend a car rental reservation or at least get a golf cart to get around the island. Gloria, our host was always responsive and helpful when we needed something. This was our second time staying at Tranquility by the sea (and 8th time coming to Vieques) and we will definitely come stay here again!
