  : I have booked two rooms, as we were travelling as two couples. We have been given a "family suite", apparently with two rooms. But the two rooms had no doors, so from a privacy standpoint we were just like next to each other. No prior indication.The nastiest surprise was that the facilities are not heated properly. The property has central heating, but it was switched on in our room only right before we arrived. And the only bathroom in the suite has no heating AT ALL.As a result, we had approx. 12 Celsius degrees in the room overnight, as the heating stopped altogether at midnight and started again at 6 a.m. In the morning, the temperature in the bathroom was just like outside - some 5 Celsius degrees.It was one of my worst nights and mornings. The hosts - Antonio and Maria - tried to convince me that it is the way Sicilians live - with no heating. It might be, but as a guest I want to have the option to live like a Sicilian (I honestly doubt it they shower at 5 Celsius degrees...), or like the average European.After much negotiation in the frigid morning, I had been given access to the only heated bathroom on the premises. It was relatively ok, except the mold on the shower frame (see the pictures, please). It is a sign that health and hygiene are not taken very seriously over there.Also, I noticed from the reviews written by other European guests that Antonio was able to offer advice on what to do around the area and he was very much appreciated for that. I wonder what language did they talk, as the hosts (neither Antonio, nor Maria) are not able to form a simple proposition in anything else but Italian.It might be the reason Antonio didn't understand when I asked him in English for an additional room, after I discovered that we didn't actually have two separated rooms, as requested. Luckily I can understand some Italian and even speak a little.

  : Antonio and Maria were amazing, so helpful throughout. The cleanliness and layout of the rooms were exceptional and an amazing few days, would love to stay again.
  : The pool was smaller than it looks in the photos, but was fine for our needs.
