  : Comfortable very modern furnishings
  : Didnt have enough experienced staff. Bar/restaurant slow service as one person covering both areas. Reception had young staff unable to handle problemsthe room safe didnt work but receptionist unable to help as he was only staff member on duty. Had to take valuables with me until midday when he tried to fix problem.

  : Great location, lovely building, good staff and the breakfast was excellent
  : There was no draft beers on tap only expensive little bottles that you had two buy two of every time, so we went to the bar around the corner

  : Slightly scruffy paintwork in many areas and badly scratched floors, needs a makeover. Outside deck needed sweeping. Ceiling water damage in room. Some staff need better training eg dragging empty bottle bin across deck in front of customers and making a huge noise emptying in skip stopping all conversation.

  : Location was great, the building and design is beautiful
  : My two daughters and I stayed in a deluxe bedroom which was cramped, yet comfortable. The design of the room is bizarre - completely open shower and bath (which takes up half the space) which you walk into from the entrance. There is a flimsy, see-through curtain which you can pull across but it's not private. I wasn't told via Booking.com that there would be an additional charge for the extra bed in the room and that the room and breakfast option only applied to me and that additional breakfast charges would apply for the kids. In addition, I had to pay for parking - so it ended up being much more than the fee I paid here. We were looking forward to watching a film however was disappointed to find that the TVs were so old, that only free broadcast channels were available - no apps, no premium channels. For the price and calibre of hotel, I would have expected more from the technology. The hotel itself is lovely but not worth the price

  : Rooms tied in need of freshening up, lighting system not explanatory in fact nothing was obvious ,including extractor which I don't think was working
