  : This campsite is located in a beautiful forest directly at the Ivalo River. In winter it is all frozen over so you can take a nice walk on the river or watch the Aurora from there. There is a bus stop with some daily departures to Rovaniemi or further north right at the campsite. The reception includes a restaurant with good food for a decent price. They also offer a breakfast buffet. You can also rent bikes in the summer or sleds in the winter for free from here. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The common building has spacious and clean toilets and showers. The kitchen is relatively small but well equipped. The cabins are simply furnished but very cozy.
  : The location of the campsite is not ideal if you come without a car. It is a ~4 km walk to the centre of Ivalo where the closest supermarket is located. There is sadly no oven in the public kitchen. The windows of the cabins are quite small and cannot be opened. One windows had a crack in the corner. It is a bit loud, because the road is very close by. The offered activities are quite expensive.

  : It was a useful location, the room though small had a microwave and kettle plus fridge, and was only 20 metres from washing and cooking facilities.

  : We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful location. All around nature and is situated just beside the road. The bus stop is beside the hotel with just a few steps. We reached late at night with the last bus from Rovaniemi city. The owner kept the room key outside of the reception door and easy to check in. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. When we reached there, the whole place was covered with snow that was so mesmerising for us. Morning views are so beautiful with snow everywhere. The cabins are warm and comfortable. It has a restaurant and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner until 7 pm. We did our breakfast and dinner for our whole stay here. If you are lucky you can see northern lights here, just you need your eyes up. The restaurant has a common bathroom, kitchen and showers. Its open 24/7. There is a hiking trail nearby. You need to ask it at the reception. We did it and the trail was covered with snow and snowing in between our hiking too. We were able to meet and talk with local people when we were returning from our hiking. It was nice to know a little more about the locals. You can roam around nearby places if you have a car else there are limited and less frequent public buses to Ivalo town and Saariselka. FYI- we travelled by public bus from Rovaniemi city to here.
