  : the website was in re-construction till a few days before arriving. We mailed different questions but received no answer. That's a pity. We only have to wait to arrive and see if possible or not......

  : The owner and his staff are very kind, helpful and ready to make the experience as pleasant as possible. They offer numerous safaris that you can book to make your stay even more enjoyable.

  : The rooms are newly renovated, very clean and have modern furniture. The staff is very friendly and helpful and does speak English. Staff helps with booking tours and airport transfer. The sauna is new and very nice to use, you can jump into the river or snow afterwards. Snowshoes, skies (cross-country), sledges and kick-sledges are available. The breakfast is of good and solid quality, always fresh fruit and vegetables. The resort has a restaurant, which offers good quality food at reasonable prices for Finland. The owner made us aware of Northern Lights as well!
  : It would be nice to have more hooks in the bathroom for towels. A drying cabinet for wet skiing/sports clothes in a shared facility would be nice.

  : Room 6 was suitably furnished, modern in good repair, a bit crowded with 2 lounge chairs. The room did feature a small shelf for preparing hot drinks, altho inadequate as a table/desk work area. Bathroom was modern, water not overly hot. Location is directly on the river, nicely isolated on a long oxbow. They feature a restaurant with an ala carte dinner menu, prices didn't seem outrageous. Seeing the hordes of tourists emerging at the airport, this was a good choice for a more relaxed experience. WLAN was usable.
  : Room in a block of 10 rooms, tight and packed together. There are many more bungalows available, however they apparently were not in use. Excessive noise could have easily been an issue. Location is a bit challenging - there appears to be no public transport from the airport IVL to Ivalo, so the choice is either taxi or shuttle. (As I had too much time, I walked the 9 Km along a wide bike path.) It is also approx 2 Km from Ivalo, which features a hotel restaurant and 3 markets. The facility is signed as "Nverniemi lomakyl" (which does not translate to "Arctic River Resort") however it seems to be the only facility in that road, in spite of the indicated GPS location being somewhat off.
