  : Breakfast was basic but okay as it was included in the price. You could order from the menu for a more substantial breakfast. Staff were friendly. Family room was big but not the one advertised as the one wed have. Cleaners came every day which was great. Had a couple of meals which were nice but most werent fresh and it stated on the menu that many meals were pre cooked and frozen. View was lovely so get up early for the sunrise at least once. (Heck of a trek up from the town but price to pay for the view.)
  : Very unusual reception areacluttered with all sorts of toys, car seats and random items. Pool was lovely but get up early because there arent enough sun beds to go around. Some people were getting up early, putting their towels down and not returning until late afternoon. We are not a family who like this kind of thing. Wed stayed in Fira before arriving at Kamari and didnt have that issue there. Also the sun beds were grubby. Our room overlooked the pool and I watched staff tidy the beds when everyone left for the day but they never cleaned them. They are all heavily stained. (The hotel will give you beach towels though if you ask at reception.) Speaking of towelslets just say youll get a good exfoliation every time you use them! Incredibly rough! We had a room with an attic annexe for the children - the air con wasnt great and didnt reach the annexe so was very hot up there. There was a fan but the cord wasnt long enough to plug in so the beds needed rearranging. Kitchen could have some more utensils. There were no bowls at all.

  : Nice location if priority is to be near beach, nice ocean view both from the rooms and the dining / pool areas. Spacious rooms and very friendly staff. George at the front desk provided detailed guidance both before arrival and after arrival on things to do and going around the town, he and the chef at the restaurant took extra care when mentioned vegan diet and ensured we were taken care of during our stay. Location is close to tour operators and easy walk down to beach. 24 hrs carrefour grocery store nearby too.
  : Little inconvenient location if using public transport as you need to go into fira to go anywhere and buses dont stop all the time (depends on whether full) and not very frequent.
