  : While the building itself and its neighbouring buildings were not great, the overall location is rather good as it is situated in proximity of most historical sights.
  : The check in experience was a disaster. The access is extremely confusing: the rooms are within a secure (inaccessible) complex. Once you make it through the gate, you're facing 3 residential and office buildings and there is no reception desk or signs whatsoever and no personnel in sight, so the only way to check in is to run into a tenant or another guest for guidance. It turns out that the reception is on the 2nd floor of one of the buildings, with no signage, and the rooms are scattered across different floors of different buildings, and you have to figure out where is what and how to get there. There should have at least been clear instructions or guidance prior to check in, but we received none, and yet we had been in contact with the hotel in writing and by phone prior to our arrival. You have to pay to use the elevator, and it is unusually small, it can barely fit 2 people, or one person with a suitcase, so if you have luggage you need to carry them up the stairs. The staff are loud, short and inhospitable to say the least. And on the day of check out, they stood in front of the door of our room an hour before check out time to rush us out. We were extremely uncomfortable. There is hardly any signal reception within the premises and the wifi was not great. There are no safes in the rooms or at the reception, so there is nowhere secure to leave your passports or any valuables you may have.

  : Check-in was simply awful. The receptionist, who claimed to be one of the owners, was angry, sarcastic and condescending. We were yelled at, smirked at, laughed at. We had reserved 12 rooms for 24 people aged 18 to 77, we arrived in smaller groups (3-4 rooms at a time) at different times, all was communicated to the facility in advance. The receptionist was raging and reprimanded us for being many, she called us children and said we were loud despite us simply being several people, which surely she expected. If we said anything we were lectured about being disrespectful and were told that we are being tolerated, that this is not a hotel and that we have reserved through booking.com so we should only deal with them. Every time we tried to bring the conversation to a civilized tone, she would raise her voice again and start another argument. I had to keep interrupting her to stop her from being abusive and get her to complete the interminable check-in. She didnt want us to come in at once, she expected us to stand outside in the rain with our luggage, she denied the use of the bathroom to our mothers (who are in their 70s) until every one was checked-in. When another guest offered his room so they can rest and use the bathroom, the receptionist screamed at them and said it wasnt allowed. And that was just the check in I could go on I cant get over the impertinence, indignation and insolence that we faced. Of course there are 2 sides to every story, but there were 24 of us, could we all have overreacted or misread the situation? And of course in a group of elderlies, things aren't as organized as one would hope, but we're still paying customers and this is supposed to be the hospitality business. Is it so unreasonable to expect to be treated with a minimum of respect and courtesy? I mean, to deny an elderly woman the use of the bathroom just to make a point? No matter what the situation. That is simply shameful...

  : The location was very walkable to the historic district, restaurants & cafes. The room & bed was comfortable. I had to cancel a 2nd booking at this hotel end of Oct as my husband & I got sick & had to return home. to Canada. The property would not give me a refund due to different banking methods in Italy nor could they credit my credit card which is how I paid. I was very upset about this. & still dont understand why this was a problem. For this reason I would not recommend this place.

  : The signal and wifi connection is very weak, the ac almost didn't work, the shower was broken.

  : Great location in the historical centre within walking distance of a lot of attractions.
  : We were given a split level room for family of three with a small entrance single bed room and bathroom and a rather dangerous and tricky set of steps into an upper double bedroom. On the whole quite a strange room.
