  : The location was excellent.
  : There were no blinds or curtains in the apartment. We had to use a sheet to cover the bedroom window. I texted the contact person regarding missing curtains and he never responded. The sofa was hollow and sunk in. We stuffed it with pillows and comforter. One foot of the bed was missing a screw and it was loose/broken. The property ended up in was not the one shown in the confirmation/booking.

  : This was one of the worse experiences I've ever had with a host/ company (SoBeNY). I've stayed many a times in an AirBnb, sublease provider, or the like. For the most part I've never had an issue with a property or a host. Typically this type of rentals are usually really good experiences. So I choose to give SoBeNY a shot.SoBeNY uses a local employee (Our City Hero) to walk you in and show you the apartment. In this instance Troy (The City Hero) sent a friend (aka a Greeter) to hand us over the keys. We waited well over an hour for the keys to enter the apartment.During our initial walk through of the apartment we noticed an issue with the restroom toilet. I was informed the greeter and he suggested that I should contact Troy to informed him immediately of the issue so that it could get it fixed. At that point, I sent an text to Troy stated the apartment looks good so far but the toilet isn't working. Troy responded with a COPY. The issue with the toilet persisted for well over 36 hours. I continued to text Troy seeking a resolution. I had to forward him the building Superintendent's information which he didn't have. Our City Hero (TROY) became completely unresponsive. I called repeatedly and texted him about our issues. He would forward all my calls and never responded to the text messages.I had to skip Troy and text the corporate number that SoBeNY provided. They would response with contact the Our City Hero. Who would then not response. Our City Hero would communicate with the SoBeNY main office but never once responded to our request.I ended up fixing the 2 issues with the toilet myself and was extremely grateful for the Garber Hardware Chelsea store around the corner (the only good part). I texted the corporate office all the information along with an image of a receipt. Their response was "Thank You". The building sup caught us 2 days later in the elevator and asked if he could fix the issue.
  : I rented two apartments from SobeNY and both had major issues. They both were misrepresented on the Booking.com website. The address they provided me when booking the apartment wasn't correct. Restroom in one didn't work for well over 36 hours and second didn't have the advised air condition (AC) nor the advised pullout couch.What I soon realized is, they have a bucket of apartments that they sublease and The City Hero attempts to get you situated in the general location of the original request. The address I agree upon was completely different then the provided. The apartment was located in the general area. However it was around the corner and down the street from the original agreed upon address.There was no sense of urgency from SoBeNY the organization nor The City Hero (TROY). If you are considering using this provider I would think again. If you experience an issue during your stay it is highly likely it will be left unresolved and they will not take any real action to rectify the issue nor will they be able to offer you any other accommodations. So if its not something you can fix yourself you will have endure during the duration of your stay or do what I had to do. USE BOOKING.COM TO FIND OTHER ACCOMDATIONS IN THE CITY (ROOMS IN MY CASE). Please Note: THERE MAY NOT BE ANY AVAILABLE!They will not provide or even offer a REFUND for the early checkout/ horrible service. Which ended up costing me an additional $1000 dollars.

  : There was no contact with the owners and no information left in the apartmnet as usually done for tourists. not enough toilet paper, lamp in the shower burnt and facilities not well maintained . A day before checkout the cleaning lady arrived while we were out. She gathered all our belongings into suitcases and threw away food , shampoo and other things. No contact with us was made and no appology given .We are traveling alot this was dedfinetly outrageous. Still waiting for Troy to call me or write about refund. Never had such an experience . Bad service!

  : Excellent location in Chelsea, near Hotel Chelsea and the subway. Elevator, air conditioners in each bedroom and efficient layout with large bedrooms facing the street. Decent coffee is across the street and bagels one block away to have the all important NYC morning. Great restaurants and sights are easy to access from this flat.
  : Property is beginning to look a little worn in spots and some apartment items were missing like enough glasses and plates for guests, and kitchen sponge. Details that should be covered for a "fully equipped" apartment. Text requests to fix were not answered.

  : The location is awesome. It is very well connected with the rest of Manhattan. There are a lot of shops, restraurants, markets that made our trip very easy during Covid period. Also the first apartment was very dirty and the hosts helped us to change it with a better and relatively cleaner one.
  : It is on one of the busiest places and if you are a light sleeper, it can be difficult. Also one of the radiators wasn't working. It wasn't a problem for us because we were a party of two, but it can be difficult for larger groups especially travelling in winter. The cleaning needs to be improved.

  : The location of the apartment in Chelsea is great and recomanded.
  : We didn’t received the apartment that we order in 22nd st we received apartment in 23 st that was very noices because of the traffic of the street. Their was no washing machine as it promised in our order. The apartment was nice but with no coffe or tea , no cleaning soap and sponge to clean the dishes, We had to purchase. If you planing to cook it’s not comfortable. We paid 175$ for cleaning but we didn’t got any during the full week of staying. I received a toilet paper & new towels just after I wrote a massage in booking by whatsapp massage I didn’t received a response.

  : They had someone meet us at the apartment when we arrived, and he was very nice. They communicated quickly. The location is very convenient to getting around Manhattan (subway 2 blocks away), amazing restaurants around the corner. The apartment was a nice size, The beds were comfortable.
  : Were were very disappointed. The apartment needed a deep clean. There were finger prints and dirt on the refrigerator and on all the light switches, bathroom cabinet (and had gunk on the inside). I had to wipe down the tables. The walls were well scuffed and had some dirty hand prints on the walls. There was a extreme grease splatters all over the wall near the stove. It looked horrible. We had to supply our own coffee filters, kitchen sponge, dishwasher detergent. The door handle on one of the bedrooms is broken and the door would not stay closed. Though they communicated well, there was no follow through on the things they said they would do.
