  : Poor quality rooms particularly the bathroom with a shabby bath and loose shower head which had to be pushed back into the wall. Poor value for money. A British Premier Inn at around 100 max/night would be preferable

  : Pretty hotel. Location was good.
  : Service. Had to ask for everything twice. Asked to have sheets cleaned. They came in and made the bed but didnt change the sheets. Same story with broken toilet seat. For the amount of money you pay, service should be top notch. It wasnt.

  : Location was convenient to all shops and restaurants in Newport. Breakfast was also good.
  : Maid service for towels/making bed did not appear until 5 pm every day we were there - this prevented us from having enough time to shower etc before dinner. Room was also very small - we expected more for > $600/night !

  : Jeez where do I begin. I hate to be this person because it makes me sound like an ass but here we go. I am fortunate enough to enjoy some nice hotels and vacations so I have an idea of what the general standards are for a 700/night hotel. Viking didn't come anywhere close. It felt like maybe a 2 or 3 hundred a night hotel at best? I wouldn't put it in the 4/5 star category. We checked in and were put in the bottom tier room in the basement. It was like a holiday inn, the fictures were broken, and ceiling had holes, there was visible dirt all over everything. I was SHOCKED. Fortunately the staff was helpful and moved us to a different room, but it was marginally better at best. The hotel guests were insanely rude and kept us up until 2 AM fighting and yelling and throwing each other arround (multiple parties in different rooms) If I were you I would think twice about booking this place is you're paying full price because its NOT worth it. You probably will have much more success at a bnb or somewhere guests are respectful and the hotel cares about the experience of the people staying there.
