  : The staff were nice and personable. There was a nice touch of a post card to remember our time in Ponta Delgada.. the location was nice and convenient.
  : I would clarify before you arrive at the property on where your room is located. There are two rooms located on the bottom floor that have a totally different aesthetic to the rest of the house and are completely closed off. These rooms/kitchen and bathroom are not pictured in any of the pictures of the property. It was subtly advised we were to only use the very small limited kitchen that was solely for our two rooms. When we arrived most of the pans and dishes were dirty. There was an interaction with the host after this asking how we were, but unfortunately we did not bring up the issue because one we didnt want to have any problem and two because looking at the pans and appliances it was hard to understand how it was not known. The overall unit had a musty damp smell (possibly because of the rain). The first two nights were ok because we were down there by ourselves and although secluded we could navigate the small area. Once both rooms were used it just felt very cramped and definitely not worth the price. I wish we would have had the experience of what we expected from the ratings and pictures. It almost felt like this area was used at some point for in house help. Overall we came to Azores for everything outside our accommodation, and it was an enjoyable vacation.
