: Amazing staff: caring and ready to help with anything! The hotel had a very pleasing minimalistic design and makes you feel at home. A nice breakfast and coffee/tea/water facilities available 24/7.
: The rooms are quite cold (at least when I visited in winter) so maybe a heater to warm up the room in the evening would be good.

: Very beautiful interior, amazing ocean views (ocean view was extra cost, but it was 100% worth it). The room had everything what was needed - hair dryer, local lotions, shower gel, water, glasses. It is possible to use the fridge to store your products. Great breakfast. Coffee, tea and snacks available all the time. Staff is absolutely wonderful, they gave us recommendations what to visit on the island according to the weather and much more. The best stay on the island (we stayed in 3 hotels all over the island, 2 of which in Ponta Delgada and it is the best)
: The humidity is quite high, at least in ocean view rooms. This was the only disadvantage that we have mentioned. Would be nice to have desiccant of some kind.

: It's a little like an air B&B and a little like a hotel...it's a 15 min walk and about a 3 min drive to the city, and it's right on the ocean.. only drawback is no restaurant, but it gets you out to explore what's around you. Breakfast was prepared every morning and was delicious. The staff was amazing with help and advice for the best way to see the island...a much more personal experience than a big hotel..I'd definitely stay there again.
: Not that I didn't like it...but it's not a standard hotel with a 24 hour front desk so if that's what you want this isn't for you but if you want the inside scoop on the best spots on the island and a more personal experience than this is EXACTLY what you want.

: Simple, comfortable and near enough the town centre. There is parking across the road. Breakfast was simple but nice. Service from the team was good., with Jessica a star.
