  : Friendly staff. They lent me an umbrella when the weather turned wet and cold. I was too late to submit a breakfast order but the staff let me use their kitchen. I brought provisions at the shop around the corner. The park opposite was pleasant.Getting to the property by public transport requires some planning. The bus from the Moscow Station turns a few hundred metres before the hotel. A tram does go past but you need to check a map where to catch it. The hotel is about 3.5km from Moscow Station so one is outside the tourist zone, which is a good thing if you want to see how the locals live.The Alexander Nevsky Monastery, cemetery (Dostoyevsky, Chaikovsky are buried there) and metro station are about 20 minutes walk from the guest house.
  : The walls are thin. This was a problem when the couple next door one night started arguing, although they did eventually stop. The breakfast arrangements were not very clear at the start.
