  : Room was not made up on arrival dirt linen and towels. Looked clean at a glance but wasnt. Strong musty damp smell in the room. I left my bags in reception before check in and some one moved and looked in one of my bags. :-(

  : Very central and close Piazza di San Marco. This hotel owns rooms in five buildings apparently. I stayed in a building a bit further down from the one with the reception. My room was on the third floor. From the windows one was able to see a canal and it was overall quite charming if slightly crumbling. The rooms there had been renovated though. Acoustic glass and AC, so unless other guests are noisy, it is quiet. There are also exterior blinds you can close.
  : If you have trouble with stairs, then this might be difficult. The stairs were also in need of repair, slightly uneven and on the landings the terrazzo had crumbled away in certain places. I didnt mind that, the buildings in Venice are very old. But for health and safety reasons repairs should be made. The pillows were a bit high, so if you are a side sleeper then this could be a slight issue. If other guests are noisy, you can hear them. I only had this problem during the last night so if I had stayed longer I would have spoken to them or reception.The toilet and the bidet are facing each other and are very close. The shower head was probably from the previous bathroom and should also be replaced.

  : Fantastic location, just up the side of hotel Daniele on the grand canal right next to the water taxi stations. Tired property, carpets on the stairs are a hazard, frayed holes in them on the stairs, I was lucky not to get a heel stuck in them and fall head over down the rest of the stairs! Accident waiting to happen. No help with luggage, no early check in but luggage is abled to be dropped and stored. Lovely room given to us top floor with outdoor terrace but 4 flights of stairs to get to it. Mostly staff were friendly one man was very rude, didnt have breakfast but it looked basic but nice, absolutely not for anyone who cant do 4/5 flights of stairs. At least two flights of stairs to get to the rooms. No lift on the property! Entering the property is stairs to reception

  : Perfect location. Everything right at the door (or one can even say - right under the window :)) Nice and clean room with classic decoration.
