  : The location is excellent, walking distance to everything.
  : The bed mattress is too old. The place is also difficult to find, needs better directions and a bigger sign.

  : The location of the Palazzo La Scala is great. 5 minutes away from the Rialto Water Bus, it's a great place as a base to explore Venice. It felt like it was in a very safe spot too, we were able to explore Venice in the evening and come back safely. The location is just great and not far from the main spots. For a one night stay, the accommodation was perfect. The room was a cozy, but small room, which had a separate bathroom. All towels and soaps were included, and everything was clean and worked well. The staff were nice, and spoke good English. They allowed us to leave our baggage when we checked out so we could explore Venice more, which I appreciate. They also made it very clear how much tourist tax was before visiting and kept in touch throughout via the Booking.com messaging portal. We felt well looked after before arriving!
  : Whilst we couldn't hear noise from outside of the accommodation, we could hear noise from the corridors. Whilst this didn't bother us too much, for those who are more noise sensitive I think this is worth noting. As well as this, when we left our baggage to be looked after for the day after check out, the baggage was left behind a table which was very visible at the front desk and not secured at all. Nothing was stolen from us, but we were surprised our bags were not taken to a more secure location. The room was also quite small and dark, with the windows being small. This was perfect for us for one day, but if you're planning to stay multiple days and want a place to stay where you're going to be indoors for a period of time, you may find that this is a bit too small. Overall however, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it!

  : Perfect for people who want to get out and explore Venice. The location is perfect, and it was the cleanest accommodation I've ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful too.
  : It suited our needs, clean, comfortable and excellent location - no complaints from us but for some it might be a bit basic!
