Running Water Apt at Flory Mill with Deck!

  : There is a stocked trout stream that runs directly under the apartment... wonderful view from the porch. There were ducks, geese, foxes, birds, and maybe other wild animals viewable almost anytime throughout the day. Very peacefull. There is a train that runs by twice a day but is slow and fairly quiet.. was an added attraction rather than a bother.. especially being only 50 ft away. The interior was well appointed in a sort of 1960's motif.. very nostalgic. Decorations were very interesting, as they explained the history of the Mill the apartment was part of.. It was originally built in 1800.. and original foundation and architecture evident everywhere.. Very solid. The owner was especially knowledgeable and took us through the facility on a tour. He is a very kind man, and looked after us in ways you don't get at a simple hotel / motel... He is a retired Air Force pilot and full of stories. As a retired Navy guy, we had a lot in common, and we thouroughly enjoyed his company. As to the accommodations, the beds were very comfortable, large rooms. About my only minor complaint would be the water pressure for a shower, but it was a minor inconvenience. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and intend to return next year, if not sooner.
  : The water pressure for our shower was kind of low.. but we managed. (There are two bathrooms, and we gave the better one to the friends we were traveling with)

  : very unique setting with the stream running under the building. Greg was great to work with and so easy to contact and answered all our questions. very close to Lancaster
