  : The room was very clean and pleasant.
  : There was another couple that came into our room that had the same room number booked. We called the hotel and they did have another room available, so the other couple went there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in this situation but it was a little unprofessional on the hotels part.

  : Exactly as advertised - no frills but a great, high value location to crash and explore Newport -which we did by bikes. Owner was nice enough to let us keep our truck in the driveway during the day. We will be back as my elderly parents are in elder care nearby and we cant afford $$$$$ Newport hotels, so we are grateful. Thank you

  : First, I sent Brianna a message that we would be checking in early evening and would like a late checkout (12:00). No response. Next, we arrive and someone else is here n our room already. We are reassigned another room. Fine. We leave for dinner and return and cannot enter the room, so we thought. The instructions for entering room were given but nothing about how to lock the room. We left if unlock and when we returned, did not hear the unlock vibrate and thought our code didnt work. Needless to say, Brianna NEVER responded to our phone or text messages. So lucky for us the Asian ladies in restaurant helped and we got in. So sad that Brianna did not respond. That was scary for us thinking we would be locked out and she could have answered the calls-messages to help out. What does she get paid for? Would not have her represent my Business ever. Nope!!

  : It was a cleanish, ok place to stay. No frills and definitely not worth the price but did the job and was in a central location between Middletown and Newport.
  : Heads up there is no staff on sight to help you or greet you. The door to get into the inn is also always unlocked which seems like a security problem to me because it's on top of a restaurant where people can just come and go. The room got extremely hot at night, the hallway faced our bedroom window which we found weird (because people could see into our room) and it shined a light in our room the whole night. The room also had barely any outlets which made it hard to charge and use our stuff. The shower head also would not tilt and was so strangely placed (almost vertical) toward the back wall of the shower that the water from the shower only hit our heads and no where else. Our sink drain also was clogged and two of the "clean" untouched towels had hair from other guests on them.

  : Unfortunately, the experience my colleagues had with the Rhea Inn was far from great. By the time they arrived at the hotel it was roasting hot. It took them an hour to cool the rooms down but the communal areas had no AC, so it stayed hot. There was no kettle or coffee-maker in the rooms, no desk area to work from and, what upset my colleagues most, was that the shower wasn't working in one of the rooms. According to my colleagues it was very little value for money.

  : Noisy!! No security. Bolt inside did not stop a stranger from entering my room at midnight. He had my code for the door and opened it. I did not feel safe knowing someone could open the door and I could not prevent it. I left immediately. There was noise until 11:30 so could not sleep and then the door opened and I was out of there. That was the first night. I went and slept on the couch in my brothers room.
