: Ranch amenities and location. Kitchen was well enough stocked to self cater.
: Cabin was far darker inside than the on line photos which caught our eye. Interior trim was rougher than we expected. Too much or too large furniture for space.

: We always enjoy black butte resort. The pools are nice, the trails are lengthy and well kept, the welcome center is always there to help, the horse rides are awesome, the views of the mountains beautiful, and the sites are easy to get to. When I complained to Vacasa about the cleanliness of the house, they got me in touch immediately with the manager of the cleaning department. The manager came to the home to see exactly what I was talking about, and was very understanding. She was even able to get our cleaning deposit refunded, which helped make the stay tolerable.
: Our main complaint is the cleanliness and comfort of the house. It was full of dust, cobwebs, many broken or warped blinds, and several noticeable mouse traps. Several of the beds squeaked when barely touched, one had a stain on the bed spread, which was easily washed out with a bar of soap, and therefore meant that it wasn't clean to begin with. Two of the bedroom door locks didn't work, and several mornings I found mouse droppings on the kitchen counter. Oh, and the owners prescription medicine in the cupboard.

: There were little flying bugs in the downstairs bathroom. They crawled (and flew) out of the bottom of the wall near the vent. The bedroom with the hot tub off of the back door had a bed that squeaked every time you moved. It would have been nice to have had instructions for how to get the Smart TV to work. We muddled through, but being there to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday, she couldn't figure out how to watch her favorite programs, like NBC basic programming Dateline. The Kleenex box had two tissues in it for the three nights, and there was no backup found anywhere. So forced to use toilet paper, which was pretty rough. Overall, the home felt overpriced for the quality of sleep and cleanliness.
